Hill Climb 2025

This year’s hill climb will be held on the day of club picnic ride. The climb will be from near the cattle grid in Stuckton up to Blissford Crossroads.

Following a fall whilst cycling to Burley on the Mince Pie Ride last Tuesday, Jim was taken to Southampton Hospital with a hip-joint fracture and was operated on the following day. I am very sorry to say that he passed away last night in the hospital, with Janet by his side.

The New Forest Bike Project is a not-for-profit community and social enterprise, based in New Milton, which takes in unwanted bicycles and then repairs, restores and relocates them. They aim to help people from all walks of life get out on two wheels and for it to be an inclusive and fun experience.

Michael House is a homeless charity in Boscombe Bournemouth with a reconditioning bike project. The residents have been busy reconditioning unwanted bikes for rough sleepers and people within our local community for a nominal donation to cover the cost of parts.

PEDALL provides inclusive cycling opportunities to enable people who need support to enjoy cycling in and around the beautiful New Forest. This unique charity works with the New Forest National Park and has bases in Ashurst and near Burley.
